If you purchased ground meat from us within the last couple days, you may have noticed some new stickers on the packaging. The USDA has passed a new rule to help educate consumers on the dietary and nutritional information on meats. The new stickers on our ground meats are just that, a nutritional label. Here are the two you will find on our Lean (85% Lean/15% Fat) Ground Beef and our Extra Lean (95% Lean/ 5% Fat) Ground Beef:

You will also find these on other ground meats like Turkey, Pork, Lamb, and more.

Besides the sticker, nothing else has changed. You are still getting the same fresh meats, that we grind ourselves in store daily.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table and we can’t wait til next year!

A local blog site, Phoenixville BrickNMortar, featured Foresta’s Market as one of five local businesses in a recent post. See the link below to find out how a perfect snack came together using only ingredients and items found in our community. Here is what they had to say about Foresta’s: “The last business that I can reasonably feature in this post is Foresta’s, where I bought the ice cream – a true Phoenixville treasure! At Foresta’s today I bought 2 ready-made salads, the gallon of ice cream, and five different single Nelson’s popsicles (the best of which is vanilla, which, by coincidence, also doesn’t feature any color!) I often wonder at the sheer number of varieties of ready-to-eat foods offered at Foresta’s. They are intuitive in the amounts they offer as well: you can buy a 3-pack of glazed donuts for $1.15 or 1/2 of many different flavors of cake.” – Phoenixville BrickNMortar Check out the full post at 5 Birds, 1 Stone .

Certified Angus Bone-In or Boneless Prime Rib Roasts. (Ask for it “cut and tied” to make carving a cinch! We cut the bone off the roast but tie it back on with butcher string. After its cooked just cut the strings and enjoy a boneless roast that still has the bone flavor.)

Certified Angus Filet Mignon Roasts or Steaks. (Say “Oven Ready” to make your filet roast extra juicy! We will tie a layer of fat on top of the roast to keep it from drying.)

Fresh Jaindl Grand Champion Turkeys (The same bird you’ve come to love at Thanksgiving.)

Fresh Geese, Ducks, and Capons (Can’t decide on just one? We can create you a Turkducken! That is a Turkey stuffed with a Duck stuffed with a Chicken!)

Boneless or Semi Boneless Smoked Hams (We offer hams from Hatfield, Alderfer, Leidy’s, Smithfield, Shurfine, Kunzler, and more)

Foresta’s Honey Baked Ham (We take a boneless ham, slice it to your preference. We offer a sandwich slice (thin), Platter slice (medium, it is thick enough to eat as a dinner slice but thin enough to throw on a roll), or Dinner Sliced(thicker). After slicing we tie the ham back together with butcher string and bake on our own store made glaze. To finish it, we top the ham with a sliced pineapple ring and cherry!)
